Your guide for boiler blowdown tanks
Boiler blowdown tanks are designed to prevent high pressure steam and water from entering into drains and possibly scalding someone. The tank allows the blowdown water to cool before discharging and allows the steam from the water to vent to the atmosphere.
Midwest Tank Co. boiler blow-off tanks are custom built and labeled in accordance with the ASME Code, Section VIII, Div. 1. These tanks carry the U stamp and are registered with the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors.
